Maki Sushi Recipe

- Ingredients:
- Short grain rice
sushi rice. - Kombu (Dried kelp
optional
or add some dashi) - Water
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- Avocado
- Cucumber
- Panko crumbs
- Surimi fish (Fake crab) or crab
- Masago
- Shrimp
- etc whatever you want.
- Method:
- Prepare sushi rice, I used a rice cooker. Adjust water to rice ratio and stick in the kombu as it cooks.
- When rice is done, remove and let it cool. Put sushi vinegar in and mix.
- Put rice on nori and put ingredients in. ROLL.
- Consume.
If you don't know how to roll, go look it up on youtube. :( I kind of failed a few times but this is delish!
My personal mixes were:- Panko crumbs, tuna, sriracha and kewpie mayonnaise.
- California roll: Avocado, surimi/crab and cucumber.
- Tamago roll. (Egg omelette)
- Kappa Maki. (Cumber.)
